100% Cabernet Franc. 2017 is the first vintage of the "Domaine Chinon" bottling. It is a combination of Raffault estate and some purchased fruit, a first for Raffault, born of the devastating vintage conditions. It is made from similar sites and in a similar style as their Barnabés Chinon: meant to be an early-and-easy-drinking, tank-aged wine from the younger vines on the flat, sandy, alluvial plain along the Vienne and Loire Rivers.

Classic Loire Cabernet Franc characteristics, Nose bright red tangy fruit of tart raspberry and tart cherry with dried herbs. The nose continues of the palette with bright tart red fruit flavors with a touch of spicy chili flakes, cranberry, finishing with this crushed gravel minerality.
