Paumanok Merlot 2013
This tightly wound beauty is fresh, pure and lingering on the finish. The stonewashed and oak-neutral demeanor makes this crisp Merlot a perfect food wine, full of controlled fruit flavor, bright and able to age a bit. This is a nice value and a pretty good successor to the lovely. Overall, it's a fine success, if you like them on the crisp and pure side rather than sweet and fleshy.
