A highly regarded non-vintage Champagne known for its aromatic freshness and silky texture. As the first rosé champagne ever created (dating back to 1764), it remains a "gourmet expression" of the House of Ruinart's signature style.
Appearance: A brilliant pomegranate or deep coral pink with subtle orange reflections and extremely fine, persistent bubbles.
Aromas: Initial notes of exotic fruits like pomegranate, lychee, and guava, followed by floral essences of Damask rose and freshly picked red berries like cherry and raspberry.
Palate: A "frank attack" leads to a full-bodied, balanced palate featuring crunchy red fruits, peppermint, and pink grapefruit. It finishes with elegant notes of citrus and a hint of spice.
Blend: Typically consists of 45% Chardonnay (mostly from Côte des Blancs and Montagne de Reims) and 55% Pinot Noir (from Montagne de Reims and Vallée de la Marne).
Vinification: Includes 20–25% reserve wines from the two previous years. Approximately 18–19% of the Pinot Noir is vinified as red wine to provide its distinct color and structure.
Dosage: Generally between 8 to 9 g/L, maintaining its "Brut" classification.
Aging: Aged in Ruinart's historic chalk cellars (Crayères) for approximately 2 to 3 years.
