Highly sought-after, artisanal white wine from one of Sancerre's most legendary producers. Crafted from 100% Sauvignon Blanc vines (some over 60 years old) in the famed Kimmeridgian limestone soils of Chavignol, this vintage is noted for its "old-school" style—balancing a rich, textured palate with high acidity and piercing minerality.
Aromas: High-intensity notes of lime zest, fresh pear, white flowers, and flinty smoke.
Palate: Full-bodied and "chewy" with flavors of stone fruits (peach/apricot), citrus, and a Chablis-like mineral backbone.
Longevity: While enjoyable now, this wine is built for long-term aging; experts suggest cellaring for 7+ years to reach its peak.
