Characterized by its intense aromatic profile and "soothing strength," a result of a growing season defined by extreme climatic contrasts. It was released in 2024 after aging for roughly eight years on its lees.
Aromas: Opens with deep, roasted notes of cocoa and coffee beans, transitioning into floral scents of lime blossom, jasmine, and peony.
Palate: A multi-layered experience featuring stone fruits (peach, nectarine), citrus (orange peel, mandarin), and exotic hints of green papaya.
Finish: It has been described as "tactile" and "horizontal" in structure, concluding with a saline, crystalline, or slightly bitter finish.
Composition: A precise blend of 51% Pinot Noir and 49% Chardonnay.
Dosage: Low at approximately 4.5 to 5 grams per liter, maintaining a crisp, dry profile.
Harvest: Began on September 7, 2015, following a cold spring and a hot, dry summer.
