Pinot Noir from one of Burgundy’s most iconic producers. While Coche-Dury is most famous for white wines, this red is noted for its refinement, power, and surprising longevity for the appellation. Domaine Coche-Dury uses traditional winemaking, including full destemming for reds and gentle vinification to preserve freshness and terroir expression. The 2018 vintage in Burgundy is characterized by a warm growing season, resulting in wines with excellent fruit concentration and sophisticated tannic structures.
Aromas: Exhibits a vibrant and elegant bouquet of ripe red cherry, crushed strawberry, and floral notes, sometimes showing hints of blueberry and underlying earthiness.
Palate: Described as powerful with a "huge grip" and "sinewy muscle," balanced by a refined and supple attack. It typically features well-integrated tannins and a long, smooth finish.
