Highly acclaimed Pinot Noir from Burgundy, often described as a highlight of the domaine's 2017 collection. Produced from vines planted in 1964, this wine reflects the producer's signature style of concentration balanced by the elegance of the Petite-Chapelle terroir. Crafted from three parcels using approximately 40% whole-bunch fruit and matured for 16–18 months in roughly 70% to 100% new oak.
Aromas: Bursting with dark berries (cassis, blackberry), wild blueberries, smoked meats, truffles, loamy soil, and floral notes like violets and rose petals.
Palate: Layers of macerated red fruit and candied orange peel with a mineral-driven, vibrant mid-palate. It features fine, "exquisitely" silky but grippy tannins and a long, sapid finish with hints of white pepper and licorice.
