A single-vineyard red wine from the Fleurie cru in Beaujolais, France. This specific cuvée is known for being more structured and powerful than typical Fleurie wines, often drawing comparisons to the character of Morgon. Aged for 12 months in large, older wooden casks (foudres) to enhance its character without adding heavy oak flavor. Sourced from the Grand Pré parcel, which features vines over 80 years old planted in deep granite soils.
Aromas: Dark, rich strawberry mixed with gravel, minerals, and subtle notes of balsamic, smoke, cranberry, and hibiscus.
Palate: Described as structured and formidable yet exquisite and fine. It features concentrated fruit and intense spice with a vibrant, youthful purple color.
