White Burgundy that serves as an entry point to the prestigious Domaine Roulot portfolio. This vintage is noted for its precision, concentration, and a distinctive "chalky grip" reflecting its terroir-driven origins. Known for high, racy acidity and a long, textural finish with mineral undercurrents. The 2020 was aged in used oak casks after a light crushing of the grapes. Roulot typically uses low levels of new oak (around 15-18%) to allow the fruit and terroir to lead. The fruit for this bottling is often a blend from parcels such as Les Grandes Coutures and other selections on the Volnay side of Meursault.
Aromas: Dominant notes of citrus oil, fresh hazelnuts, and subtle hints of buttery pastry.
Palate: Satiny and medium-to-full-bodied. It offers flavors of ripe apple and pear, with a mineral, stony intensity.
