A certified organic red wine from a small 2-hectare estate in the Southern Rhône. Known for its non-interventionist approach, this vintage is described as lighter and fresher than previous years, featuring high acidity and a focus on terroir over heavy extraction.
Aromas: Bright and pure nose with fresh cherry, strawberry preserves, and "potpourri" floral notes, accented by licorice and dried Mediterranean herbs.
Palate: Medium-bodied and dry with a "brisk and lively" acidity that provides energy. It features supple, restrained tannins and a notable mineral finish.
Character: Atypical for Rasteau, which is often heavily extracted; this wine is frequently compared to Burgundy for its elegance and freshness.
Composition: A blend typically consisting of 60% Grenache, with equal 10% parts of Syrah, Mourvèdre, Carignan, and Cinsault.
Fermented and aged in concrete tanks for roughly eight months to maintain fruit purity; it is bottled unfined and sometimes unfiltered.
