Highly regarded white Burgundy from a vineyard known for its "pungent limestone essence" and "electric acid-mineral interplay". Critics describe the 2023 vintage as slightly richer and more "open-knit" than the 2022, though it maintains the estate's signature saline finish and age-worthy structure.
Winemaking: Fermentation and aging occur in small oak barrels (20% new oak) for 12 months, followed by 6 months in stainless steel tanks before bottling to settle and clarify.
Aromatics: Features delicate notes of white flowers, peach, crisp orchard fruits, and hazelnuts. Some tasters also noted hints of granite and cooked apple.
Palate: Described as medium to full-bodied, satiny, and seamless. It offers a "sweet core of fine white peach fruit" balanced by a "piercing minerality" and "vibrant tension".
Finish: Known for a tightly coiled, chalky intensity with a notably saline and persistent finish.
