Premier Cru Chardonnay from the Côte Chalonnaise region of Burgundy, France. Produced from vines over 60 years old, this wine is noted for its balance of richness and vibrant acidity. The wine is fermented in a combination of oak barrels and stainless steel, with approximately 30% new oak used for aging. It often undergoes bâtonnage (lees stirring) to enhance structure. Sourced from ancient vines (60+ years) grown on argilo-calcaire (clay-limestone) soils.
Aromatics: Features a concentrated nose with aromas of lime, jasmine, and grapefruit, complemented by notes of brioche, acacia, and subtle oak. Some tasters also note hints of ginger, vanilla, and woody spice.
Palate: Offers a creamy texture with flavors of peach, lemon, pear, and green melon. It is characterized by its saline minerality and a crisp, persistent finish.
