A classic Pomerol red wine characterized by its structure, aromatic richness, and dense fruit profile. Produced from a 4.2-hectare estate with deep historical roots dating back to the 15th century, this vintage is highly regarded for its balance and aging potential.
Nose: Intense aromas of black cherry, plum, and cassis, with floral notes like violet and hints of espresso, chocolate, and dried herbs.
Palate: Medium to full-bodied with a fleshy core of fruit. It features silky, "powdery" tannins and a long finish with savory and spice undertones.
Blend: Predominantly Merlot (95–97%) with a small amount of Cabernet Franc (3–5%).
