A highly regarded Right Bank Bordeaux blend known for its elegance and traditional style. Produced by the Pueyo family, who have owned the estate since 1853, this vintage is crafted from organically and biodynamically farmed vines.
Nose: Rich and spicy with distinct notes of tobacco, coffee, and savory herbs.
Palate: Dominated by red and black fruits, including red currant, cassis, raspberry, and ripe plum.
Structure: It features a plush, velvety texture with silky tannins and a lingering mineral lift.
The Blend: A classic combination of 60% Merlot, 35% Cabernet Franc, and 5% Cabernet Sauvignon.
Aging: Half of the wine is aged in oak barrels (25% new) for 18 months, while the other half rests in cement tanks to preserve fruit freshness.
