An organic sparkling wine from the Lombardy region of Italy, crafted as a tribute to the founding of one of Italy's first golf courses by Baron Edoardo Pizzini in 1927. This non-vintage (NV) cuvée is celebrated as the first organic Franciacorta, produced using sustainable methods that exclude synthetic substances in the vineyard.
Aromas: Fragrant notes of green apple, lemon zest, white flowers (elderflower, jasmine), and subtle hints of bread crust or brioche.
Palate: Crisp and chiseled with flavors of orchard fruits (pear, apricot), citrus, and a characteristic salty finish.
Organic Certification: Produced using organic farming and cellar methods.
Grape Composition: Primarily Chardonnay (95%) blended with Pinot Nero (5%) or occasionally a small amount of Pinot Bianco.
Vinification: The wine undergoes gentle pressing and fermentation in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks, followed by aging on the lees for approximately 20 to 30 months.
