Labeled under the "Les Turitelles" cuvée, is a fresh, Burgundian-style red wine from the high-altitude Limoux area of the Languedoc region in Southern France.
Aromas: Dominant notes of fresh red berries like cherry, raspberry, and strawberry, complemented by fine baking spices such as nutmeg and cinnamon, with subtle hints of mocha or earthiness.
Palate: Balanced and silky with soft tannins, refreshing acidity, and a mineral core that leads to a "lifted" or long fruit finish.
This wine is crafted by the Collovray & Terrier team, who also own Domaine des Deux Roches in Burgundy. They apply their Burgundian expertise to the cooler microclimates of Limoux, resulting in a Pinot Noir that is more elegant and vibrant than many warm-climate alternatives.
