Gekkeikan Black & Gold is a premium Tokubetsu Junmai sake, known for being a unique blend of two different sakes. It combines Gekkeikan's "Traditional" Junmai with their "Haiku" premium sake to create a full-bodied and exceptionally balanced profile.
Flavor Profile: It features rich, fruity notes of honeydew, papaya, and banana, balanced by earthy undertones of roasted nuts and anise.
Mouthfeel & Finish: Expect a thick, smooth mouthfeel with a long, umami-driven finish.
Classification: Tokubetsu Junmai (Special Junmai), meaning it is made without added alcohol and uses rice polished to at least 60% or higher, or employs special brewing methods.
