A premium, Burgundy-style white wine produced by Wölffer Estate Vineyard in Sagaponack, Long Island, New York. Modeled after classic French white Burgundy, this flagship expression walks a fine line between cool-climate minerality and warm-climate richness.
Aromas: Prominent bouquet of ripe peach, pear, toasted brioche, white flowers, and rising dough.
Palate: Full-bodied and unctuous yet balanced, showcasing layers of lemon curd, baked apple, apricot, and subtle vanilla marzipan.
Fermented and aged for roughly 8 months on the lees in French oak barrels (approximately 18% to 20% new oak), giving the wine its creamy texture and gentle nuttiness without overpowering the fruit.
