Themed "La Proporzione" (The Proportion), is a classic Bolgheri Superiore celebrated for its balance and refined structure. This vintage marks a return to a traditional blend after several years of varying grape dominance.
Aromas: Ripe red fruits, blackberry, and black cherry, layered with vanilla, tobacco, cedar, and hints of licorice and menthol.
Palate: Full-bodied yet sleek and velvety. It offers a savory finish with mineral notes of crushed stone and flint.
Blend: 50% Cabernet Sauvignon, 32% Merlot, 13% Cabernet Franc, and 5% Petit Verdot.
Aging: Aged for 18 months in French oak barrels (70% new) and an additional 12 months in the bottle before release.
Drinking Window: While it can be enjoyed now with decanting, experts recommend cellaring it until 2026–2028 to reach its peak, with a lifespan lasting until 2045–2050.
