Commonly known as Taittinger Prestige Brut, it is a signature non-vintage Champagne from one of the few remaining family-owned houses in Reims. It is highly regarded for its high proportion of Chardonnay (40%), which is significantly higher than most other non-vintage blends and provides the wine with its characteristic elegance and freshness.
Appearance: Subtle pale gold with fine, persistent bubbles.
Nose: Aromas of peach, white flowers (hawthorn, acacia), vanilla pod, and fresh brioche.
Palate: Lively and fresh with flavors of fresh fruit, honey, and a crisp, mineral finish
The Blend: A sophisticated mix of Chardonnay (40%), Pinot Noir (35%), and Pinot Meunier (25%) sourced from approximately 50 different crus.
Aging Process: This cuvée is aged on its lees for 3 to 4 years, more than double the legal minimum required by AOC law, allowing it to develop a complex aromatic maturity.
:Food Pairings: Its bright acidity and delicate structure make it an excellent match for seafood, shellfish, white meats, and vegetable risottos.
