It is one of the nine prestigious crus produced by the historic Barbaresco cooperative in exceptional vintages. 2021 is considered a benchmark vintage, comparable in power and complexity to the legendary 2016.
Nose: Intense aromas of violet, wild rose, wild strawberries, red currant, and candied orange peel, enriched by notes of star anise and nutmeg.
Palate: Full and dense body, characterized by a vibrant structure with fine but “nervy” tannins and a pronounced citrus acidity that gives energy to the sip.
Vineyard Asili: Recognized as one of the most renowned vineyards in the area, it usually produces the most elegant, fragrant, and feminine wines in the entire range of the Produttori.
Winemaking: Fermentation at 30°C with 28 days of skin contact (submerged cap maceration), followed by aging for at least 30 months in 25–50 hl oak casks.
