A complex Chardonnay from the Côte de Beaune region of Burgundy, France. It is crafted by Philippe Chavy, who manages over 8 hectares of vineyards using biodynamic principles and lunar cycles.
Vineyard & Age: Sourced from "Les Corvées des Vignes," a parcel located on the border of Meursault, featuring vines approximately 70 years old. The grapes are whole-bunch pressed and the wine is aged for roughly 11 months in 228L French oak barrels, typically using 10% to 20% new oak.
Nose: Aromas of white flowers, ripe orchard fruits (apples, pears), and citrus zest, often accompanied by mineral notes of flint or wet stone.
Palate: A silky, refined texture with flavors of green apple and citrus blossom, balanced by a creamy mouthfeel and vibrant acidity.
