One of Puligny-Montrachet's most prestigious Premier Cru vineyards. This vintage is characterized by its intense freshness, concentrated fruit, and a "buttery and complex" style. Minimal Intervention is what Philippe Chavy focuses on to retain purity, using neither pumping nor filtration to preserve texture.
Aging: Aged in 300 and 350-liter barrels for roughly 11 months followed by 6 months in tank.
Nose: Aromas of fine vanilla pod, ripe citrus (yuzu), and acacia blossom.
Palate: Fleshy and multilayered with a seductive mouthfeel. You can expect flavors of white peach, apple, and subtle minerality.
Finish: A long, energetic finish featuring crème brûlée and mirabelle.
