Described as a "baby Puligny-Montrachet" due to its high-quality sourcing from vines located within Puligny on the Meursault border. It is highly regarded for its clarity, precision, and exceptional quality-to-price ratio in the 2024 vintage.
Aromas: Bright and inviting notes of Honeycrisp apple, citrus zest, and white flowers (honeysuckle), accented by a "gentle stony snap".
Palate: Fresh and juicy with a distinct mineral backbone and vibrant acidity. It features a supple yet focused texture with flavors of ripe pear, yellow orchard fruits, and lemon curd.
Finish: Long, clean, and mineral-driven with a "chiseled" clarity typical of the Pernot style.
Vines: Sourced from the Côte d'Or, often from parcels that sit just outside more prestigious village designations.
Aging: Fermented and aged in barrels with minimal new oak (roughly 5%) to provide texture without overwhelming the fruit with wood flavors.
