An artisanal, biodynamically-farmed red blend from the Suvereto region of coastal Tuscany. Known as the "economical entry" into the prestigious Montepeloso lineup, it is celebrated for offering "Super-Tuscan" complexity at a value price point.
Describe to have a mix of dark-toned fruit, lavender, spice, menthol, and licorice. Notes of dark cherries, strawberries, fresh sage, and thyme with fine tannins.
Region: IGT Toscana, Suvereto (Maremma), Italy.
Style: Bold and structured red wine with a vibrant, primary profile designed for immediate enjoyment or short-term cellaring (up to 12 years).
Composition: A diverse blend typically dominated by Sangiovese (approx. 45%), Cabernet Sauvignon (approx. 35%), and Malvasia Nera (10%), with smaller portions of Marselan and Alicante Bouschet.
Aging: Fermented in stainless steel and aged for approximately four to seven months in second and third-passage French oak barriques to maintain fruit freshness.
