Widely considered the crown jewel of the estate. This monopole vineyard produces a wine of grand cru intensity, characterized in the 2022 vintage by its "Cistercian" nature—strict, linear, and disciplined—yet with an admirable depth of flavor. A 2.15-hectare monopole sitting at a high elevation (324m) on a steep, southeast-facing chalky slope. Known for being youthfully austere and compact, it possesses excellent mid-palate concentration and a long, mineral-driven finish.
Aromas: A complex "aromatic symphony" of red berries (cherry, raspberry, strawberry) and delicate floral notes like violet and rose. As it opens, it reveals deeper earthy elements of leather, forest floor, and truffle.
Palate: Described as "unapologetically classic," the wine is medium-bodied with filigree tannins and racy, mouthwatering acidity. It offers a mineral edge with notes of currant, plum, and hints of cigar leaf.
