The flagship wine of the estate, sourced from a 2.15-hectare monopole vineyard known for its steep, stony limestone and white marl soils. It is widely considered the crown jewel of Volnay, characterized by its precision, elegance, and serious aging potential.
Nose: Sophisticated layers of ripe red cherries, raspberries, and wild strawberries, accented by violets, rose petals, and subtle spices like cinnamon and clove.
Palate: Medium-bodied and impeccably balanced with silky yet "powdery" tannins. It features a core of vibrant red fruit and a distinct chalky minerality.
Finish: Exceptionally long and persistent, leaving a lingering imprint of herbs, spice, and a marine or saline influence.
