Les Fiefs de Lagrange 2022 is the second wine of Château Lagrange, a Third Growth estate in Saint-Julien. This vintage is described as a "charmer"—fleshy, concentrated, and more powerful than typical years due to the hot 2022 growing season.
Aromas: Expressive nose featuring blackcurrant (cassis), tobacco leaf, and sweet soil tones, with floral hints of violet and lilac.
Palate: Medium to full-bodied and "plump." It offers a core of ripe red fruit, blood orange, and mint, supported by velvety, fine-grained tannins.
Finish: Refreshing and shiny with a "chalky" or "briny" edge toward the end.
Composition: A blend typically featuring 48% Cabernet Sauvignon, 41% Merlot, and 11% Petit Verdot.
