Antiyal Kuyen is a highly-regarded, full-bodied red blend from Chile's Maipo Valley. Produced by Viña Antiyal, a pioneer in South American biodynamic winemaking founded by Alvaro Espinoza, this wine is a tribute to the indigenous Mapuche people—"Kuyen" means moon in their native language.
Aromas: Intense notes of black plum, red berries, graphite, and spices like black pepper.
Palate: A structured, elegant mouthfeel with flavors of dark chocolate, blackberry, and subtle toast from 12 months of aging in French oak barrels.
Varietal Blend: Typically includes Syrah (approx. 50%), Cabernet Sauvignon (approx. 30%), Carmenère (approx. 15%), and Petit Verdot (approx. 5%).
Farming: Certified organic by Ecocert and biodynamic by Demeter.
Best enjoyed with grilled steak, lamb, hearty burgers, or aged hard cheeses.
