A return to a more "classic," cooler-climate style for this iconic Northern Rhône producer. Both the red and white expressions are noted for their elegance, freshness, and precise acidity rather than the heavy concentration seen in recent warmer vintages.
Tasting Profile: It is medium-bodied with "cashmere" tannins. Expect a nose of dark cherries, violets, smoked meat, and cracked pepper. The palate is refined and lively, featuring red and black fruits with a strong mineral backbone
This wine is 100% Syrah, blended from several historic parcels on the Hermitage hill, including Les Bessards, Le Méal, and Péléat.
