A widely acclaimed, budget-friendly Spanish sparkling wine from the Penedès region of Catalonia. Produced by the Jaume Serra winery (founded in 1943), it is crafted using the traditional method—the same secondary fermentation process used in Champagne—and aged for approximately 18 months on its lees.
Tasting Profile: It features a fresh, toasty nose with notes of green apple, citrus, and pear, followed by a crisp finish with subtle hints of almond and minerality.
Grape Varieties: A traditional Cava blend typically consisting of 50% Macabeo, 35% Parellada, and 15% Xarello.
