A highly acclaimed, single-vineyard red wine from the Serralunga d'Alba region in Piedmont, Italy. Produced from 100% Nebbiolo grapes, this vintage is noted for its "vibrant and stern" character, balancing the rich accessibility of the 2020 growing season with the immense structure required for long-term aging.
Nose: Strikingly pure with aromas of red cherries, rose petals, orange peel, and licorice, layered with mineral hints of iron and tar.
Palate: Powerful and elegant with "seamless" yet firm tannins and high acidity. It features a medium to full body with flavors of pomegranate, dried herbs, and a long, savory finish.
Aging: Approximately four years in large Slavonian oak casks (botti).
