A highly limited and prestigious red Burgundy from a unique 0.37-hectare parcel upgraded to Premier Cru status in 1987. Located directly above the Bonnes-Mares Grand Cru, this wine is noted for its exceptional purity and mineral-driven character. Extremely limited; only a single barrel (approximately 300 bottles) was produced for this vintage. 100% de-stemmed grapes with maturation in barriques, typically using no more than 30% new oak.
Aromatics: A "crystalline" bouquet featuring ebullient red fruit (raspberry, redcurrant), crushed limestone, and light rose petal or violet scents.
Palate: Medium-bodied with a fleshy mouthfeel, great depth, and a saline, energetic finish.
