Gérard Boulay Sancerre "À Chavignol" is a benchmark Sauvignon Blanc from the Loire Valley, prized for its "crystal-clear expression of terroir" and Chablis-like minerality. Unlike generic Sancerre, this wine is sourced from steep, fossil-rich Kimmeridgian limestone slopes in the village of Chavignol, resulting in a wine of exceptional complexity and aging potential.
Aromas: Intense mineral-driven profile featuring lime zest, green apple, and white flowers, with hints of flint and chalk.
Palate: Taut and elegant, showing grapefruit, mandarin orange, and bosc pear.
