A highly acclaimed, biodynamically farmed Pinot Noir from one of the most prestigious Premier Cru sites in Burgundy. Situated adjacent to the legendary Grand Cru La Tâche, this wine is frequently cited as being of Grand Cru quality. Produced using approximately 75% biodynamic principles and a significant proportion of whole-cluster fermentation (stems), then aged for 16–18 months in approximately 70–85% new French oak.
Aroma: An intense, perfumed bouquet featuring red cherry, wild strawberry, and blackberry, layered with pressed violet, Asian spices (Chinese 5-spice), and orange oil.
Palate: Medium to full-bodied with a velvety texture and "powdery" tannins. Critics note its concentration and "muscular" frame, balanced by mineral tension and a long, resonant finish.
While some find it approachable now due to its "open-knit" nature, experts recommend cellaring it until 2028–2037 at minimum, with a peak potential extending through 2050–2060
