A highly acclaimed Pinot Noir from one of Burgundy’s most prestigious Premier Cru vineyards. Situated on a steep limestone slope adjacent to Grand Cru sites like Échezeaux, this wine is noted for its ethereal elegance, mineral-driven structure, and hallmark Dujac finesse.
Nose: Complex layers of rose petal, wild raspberry, black cherry, violet, and "exotic spiced tea".
Palate: Medium-bodied and silky with "velvety texture" and polished mineral notes.
Terroir: Sourced from a 0.72–0.73 hectare parcel on steep slopes with reddish-brown soil and limestone fragments.
Winemaking: Dujac typically uses significant whole-cluster fermentation (stems included) to add structure and spice.
Aging: Typically matured for 14 to 18 months in oak barrels, with a significant proportion of new wood used to refine tannins.
