An elegant Jura red blend created by Guillaume d’Angerville of the famed Volnay estate, Domaine Marquis d’Angerville. This cuvée is known for its "Burgundian" finesse while showcasing the unique character of the Jura terroir.
Palate: Marked by flavors of tart red fruit, cranberry, and fresh-cut herbs. It features a silken texture with vibrant freshness and "zippy" acidity.
Finish: Offers a mineral, energetic finish with fine tannins.
The Blend: A traditional Jura mix typically composed of 60% Pinot Noir, 35% Trousseau, and 5% Poulsard.
Winemaking: The grapes are grown using biodynamic and organic farming practices. All three varieties are vinified together and aged for approximately one year in a combination of used Burgundy barrels and larger foudres.
Structure: The Pinot Noir provides a silky appearance, the Trousseau adds structure and spice (black pepper), and the Poulsard contributes finesse.
