A bold, structured red wine from one of the most iconic estates in Provence, France. Known for its high concentration of Mourvèdre, this cuvée is celebrated for its power, depth, and exceptional aging potential.
Aromas: Intense notes of black cherries, plums, and blackberries, accented by licorice, garrigue (herbal scrubland), and subtle hints of leather and tobacco.
Palate: Full-bodied and powerful with firm, fine-grained tannins. It offers a "zesty and vibrant" character with a long finish.
Blend: Approximately 80% Mourvèdre, 10% Grenache, and 10% Cinsault.
Terroir: Sourced from a 5.5-hectare parcel near Le Castellet with deep clay and limestone soils, providing the vines with necessary water during dry years.
Winemaking: Hand-harvested, fermented with natural yeasts, and aged in oak foudres for 18 to 20 months.
