Known by its commemorative name "Lulu & Lucien," is a classic expression of Mourvèdre-dominant red wine from Provence. This vintage is characterized by its freshness and vibrant fruit profile, reflecting the estate's dedication to organic and biodynamic farming.
Nose: Aromas of dark fruits (blackberry, cherry), wild flowers, violets, and "garrigue" (Mediterranean herbs).
Palate: Full-bodied yet fresh, with flavors of raspberries, plum, peppercorn, and licorice, supported by fine-grained, grippy tannins.
Finish: Long and persistent with a distinct stony minerality.
The Blend: A robust mixture consisting of 75% Mourvèdre, 14% Grenache, 9% Cinsault, and 2% Carignan.
Winemaking: Grapes are hand-harvested and de-stemmed before being aged in large oak foudres for 18 to 20 months.
