A vibrant, organic red blend from the Anjou region of France's Loire Valley. Its name, which translates to "joyful" or "playful," reflects its approachable, fresh style designed for immediate pleasure.
Nose: Lifted aromatics of red berries (raspberry, cherry), delicate spice, and peppery notes.
Palate: Light to medium-bodied with a supple texture and "crunchy" red fruit flavors. It is characterized by high freshness and invigorating acidity.
The 2023 blend is predominantly Cabernet Franc (55%), complemented by equal 15% portions of Grolleau, Gamay, and Cabernet Sauvignon. Some listings also mention small amounts of Pineau d'Aunis.
Produced using organic farming (certified since 2019). The Gamay often undergoes semi-carbonic maceration to enhance floral notes, while the other grapes are de-stemmed and see short macerations (5–8 days) to maintain a bright, fruit-forward profile.
