Quintessential dry Chenin Blanc from the Anjou region of the Loire Valley, crafted by the fourth-generation family estate Famille Ogereau. This cuvée is celebrated for its purity, energy, and expression of the region's unique dark schist soils.
Grape & Terroir: 100% Chenin Blanc sourced from multiple parcels on the left bank of the Layon river. The vines range from young plantings (1995) to historic plots dating back to the 1910s.
Nose: Bright aromas of Granny Smith apples, white flowers, lime blossoms, and citrus.
Palate: Refreshing and elegant, balancing zesty fruit (pear, quince) with a subtle bitterness and a "stone-soaked" mineral finish.
