A crisp, light-bodied white wine from the Burgundy region of France. Produced by independent vigneronne Clotilde Davenne, this 100% Aligoté wine is noted for its vibrant mineral character and high acidity, making it an excellent value for fans of refreshing, unoaked whites. Clotilde practices integrated viticulture with great respect for the environment. The wine undergoes natural yeast fermentation in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks and is aged on its lees for 8–12 months to build texture.
Aromatics: The nose is aromatic and lively, featuring notes of orchard fruits (apple, peach), white flowers (acacia, hawthorn), and a distinct mineral freshness reminiscent of oyster shells or wet stones.
Palate: It offers a racy, racy mouthfeel with a firm spine of acidity. Expect intense flavors of white peach and citrus, leading to a long, elegant finish with hints of gunflint
