A highly sought-after, small-production red Burgundy wine made from 100% Pinot Noir. Produced by rising star winemaker David Trousselle in the hamlet of Orches, this high-elevation wine is celebrated for delivering exceptional quality and value relative to its price point.
Style: Light, energetic, and perfume-driven. It features crunchy red fruits (cherry, strawberry), bright acidity, a chalky mineral grip, and fine-grained tannins.
Terroir: Sourced from the "En Crê" single vineyard, a high-altitude, limestone-rich plot nestled in a protected valley between Saint-Aubin and Saint-Romain.
Farming: Certified organic farming practices. Global warming in this historically cool subregion now allows the Pinot Noir grapes to achieve ideal, balanced ripeness.
Vinification: Minimal intervention approach using indigenous yeasts, gentle 15-to-20-day extraction, and maturation in neutral oak barrels with minimal new wood.
