A highly regarded dry white wine from the Graves appellation in Bordeaux, France. Produced by the family of the late "Professor of Bordeaux," Denis Dubourdieu, this vintage is noted for its balance of ripe aromatic intensity and the characteristic minerality of its limestone-rich terroir.
Nose: Intense aromas of lemon zest, green apple, white peach, and grapefruit, with subtle hints of mint and white flowers.
Palate: Medium-bodied and bone-dry with a succulent, creamy mid-palate. It features a "stony tension" and a mineral, saline finish.
Blend: A classic white Bordeaux blend, typically consisting of 57% Sauvignon Blanc and 43% Sémillon. Some reports indicate the 2022 vintage may have a slightly higher Sauvignon Blanc proportion (up to 60%) for increased aromatic intensity.
Vinification: Fermented and aged on its lees in French oak barrels (approximately 25%–33% new) for about 8 months
