A highly acclaimed "Super Second" Growth from a classic Bordeaux vintage. It is currently in a prime drinking window, characterized by its "opulent" and "harmonious" profile that balances the structure of Pauillac with the elegance for which this estate is known.
Aromas: Complex layers of ripe blackcurrants, blackberries, and cedarwood, evolving into tertiary notes of truffle, leather, and tobacco.
Palate: A powerful yet elegant tannin framework with intense dark fruit, lively acidity, and nuances of chocolate and toasted wood.
The 2000 vintage is widely considered one of the finest of the century for the region.
