Widely regarded as a monumental, "old-school" vintage from the Saint-Estèphe region of Bordeaux. It is a powerful, highly structured wine that has only recently begun to enter its prime drinking window, with many critics suggesting it can age for another 30 to 50 years.
Aromas: Deep notes of blackcurrant, red fruits, loamy soil, black truffles, cigar ash, and graphite.
Palate: Full-bodied and dense with a "rock-solid backbone" of firm, grainy tannins. It is characterized by its purity of fruit and vibrant acidity, finishing with long, mineral-drenched notes of tobacco and dark chocolate.
Blend: Approximately 65% Cabernet Sauvignon, 31% Merlot, 3.5% Cabernet Franc, and 0.5% Petit Verdot
