A benchmark "millennium" vintage from the prestigious Pauillac First Growth estate. Composed primarily of 93.3% Cabernet Sauvignon and 6.7% Merlot, this wine is celebrated for its extraordinary longevity, precision, and "ethereal" elegance.
Nose: Layered aromas of blackcurrant, graphite (lead pencil), cedar, and tobacco, with subtle hints of violets and mint.
Palate: A harmonious blend of rich blackberry and dark cherry fruit, framed by fine, polished tannins and vibrant acidity. Critics often note its "lightness on its feet" despite its incredible intensity.
