A highly-regarded red Bordeaux blend from one of the "satellite" appellations of Saint-Émilion.
Nose: Aromas of ripe blackberries, plums, and cherries, often accompanied by floral notes like violets and rose petals, as well as hints of sweet tobacco and cedar.
Palate: Medium-bodied and supple with silky tannins. It features a core of dark fruit, spice, and a notable mineral undertow that provides freshness.
Finish: A polished, elegant finish with lingering notes of red berries and mild spiciness.
Grape Varieties: Primarily Merlot (90-91%) and Cabernet Franc (9-10%).
Aging: Matured for 12 to 14 months in French oak barrels.
