Pessac-Léognan region of Bordeaux is a highly regarded, full-bodied red wine known for its power and value from a landmark vintage.
Tasting Profile: The wine displays the classic Pessac-Léognan "smoky" character with aromas of graphite, tobacco, and charcoal. On the palate, it is dense and lush, showing concentrated flavors of blueberry, black cherry, and licorice.
Winemaking: Aged for 16 to 18 months in French oak barrels (50% new). The estate utilizes organic and biodynamic practices.
Composition: A blend of approximately 50–65% Cabernet Sauvignon and the remainder primarily Merlot, with small amounts of Cabernet Franc or Petit Verdot depending on the specific block.
