A highly acclaimed, full-bodied red wine from the Pauillac region of Bordeaux. Widely considered one of the estate's best efforts, it is praised for being more opulent and "looser" than typical vintages, which are often austere in their youth.
Aroma: Expressive notes of black currants, cherries, plum preserves, and blackberry pie, with complex hints of spice cake, potpourri, sandalwood, and eucalyptus.
Palate: A velvety, rich, and muscular texture with layers of black fruit and spices. It features "grippy but smooth" tannins and a long, fragrant finish.
